NOTA BENE VISUAL - In Order to Control Exhibit

"NOTA BENE Visual is a multi-disciplinary studio based in Istanbul, specializing in digital experiences with the newest technology for global brands & artistic platforms, focusing on video mapping, interactive experiences, and installations."

This exhibit featured passages about morality & Ethics. If you Stepped onto the text to read it, it would respond to you and create a shadow on the floor and an outline of that exact text on the wall.

What I like about this exhibit is that it's interactive and directly responds to those that are curious enough to go up and see what the text says.

Everyone will also have their own unique experience with this exhibit based on their own creativity and how they choose to interact with the material given

Paper Typographer Sabeena Karnik

Sabeena Karnik studied applied art with a typography major in Mumbai, India.

Sabeena found she preferred to work with hand-crafted designs over digital ones.

Her current designs are made up of colorful paper slices to construct letters, words, and phrases by hand.

What I enjoy about her work is how colorful & dynamic is. There is a lot of movement present in her work.

The fact that her letters are physically handmade means they have dimension and really pop against white backgrounds.

Textportraits by Ralph Ueltzhoefer

Ralph was born in 1966 in Germany. He got his Arts degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, Germany in 2002. His focus was professional work in photography, portraiture, and painting.

Ralph created portraits of popular figures in a series called "No Clean Slate". The artist's faces would be inscribed with their biographies.

This artist's work is impressive in that the way he used text and the contrast of black & White makes such a clear image of the subject. There is so much personality showcased in his portraits and you can technically read about the subject in the piece by just observing it in closer detail.
