Assignment One Portrait Three & Reference photos

Self Portrait

This one I wanted the backgound to look like grandma wallpaper. I used a photo of flowers & made it a darker red color; then I added vertical lines in an off white pink color. For myself I want to play witha myself as a nesting doll concept so i broke apart my face onto two seperate layers. Then i layered more images of my self under and added shadows for more depth/seperation.

Note: I will likey fixed up some the shadows and shading behind the faces.
